Creating Tasks

To add a task to the To Do lists, simply use one of the mark content templates:

• Add Image
• Cleanup
• Delete
• Deprecate
• Duplicates
• Expand
• Split
• Transclude
• Update
• Update Image
• Verify

Priorities

1. Blank Pages
2. Expand - Incomplete Pages.
3. Add Screenshot - Missing Screenshots.
4. Update - Page known to be out of date.
5. Update Image - Outdated images.
6. Verify - We are not sure content is complete/up to date and it needs to be checked.
7. Cleanup/Duplicates/Split/Delete - These are usually admin tasks to tidy up the standards/structure of the Wiki.
8. Drafts - Really just a check to ensure new pages have been completed.
9. Transclude - Rarely used since we usually tag a page as stage:transcluded when we transclude it. This is only needed if we need to mark a page for transclusion later and don't want to forget.
10. Assigned - Really just a way to know if someone has indicated they will work on the page - lets them quickly find pages they had assigned to themselves.

Assigning Tasks

You may assign a task to yourself, or even to another user. Simply add a tag to the page - assigned:username  and it will automatically appear in this ToDo list.  This is particularly useful when you see a page you would like to update, and mark it for update using the Update template, but do not have time to update it immediately.  By assigning the task to yourself, you indicate you intend to work or it is WIP.

Completing Tasks

Once you have completed a task, you should:

1. remove the mark content template
   1. select the text
   2. press backspace to delete
   3. keep pressing backspace until the image and box are removed
2. Delete the related stage and assigned tags
