How to display your system specification
For the Moderation, Test and Developer Team it is very often necessary to view a user's system specification (soft- and hardware). To get a quick overview of these information, the forum offers a possibility to nicely display them.
Log in to the MediaPortal forums
- Go to the control panel by clicking on the top left button
Next click Edit System Specification and enter as much information as possible
When you're done, save your changes and select Edit Your Details
Naviagte to the Display System Specs section on the bottom of this page, select Yes
- in the dropdown box and save your changes afterwards.
- From now on your system specification can be easily viewed in the forums and get automatically
- added when you start a support thread in the bug report forums.
