xmlTVNZ Setup

1. Download xmlTVNZ and extract the files to your MediaPortal/xmltv directory.

2. Have a look at the xmlTVNZ Tags.txt document for a list of channel tags. Some sources are more reliable and contain more data than others, it's best to start with the defaults and try some other options later if you wish.

3. Create a batch file in that directory. One way to do so is to right click and create a new Text Document, then change the file extension of the created file to .bat.

4. Right click the file and click Edit, then in Notepad type > xmlTVNZ.exe tvguide.xml followed by your channels. For example, > xmlTVNZ.exe tvguide.xml tv1 tv2 tv3. There are more advanced options available, check the text files that came with xmlTVNZ.

5. All you need to do is run the batch file to update your TV Guide. You can of course schedule this to happen every night with Windows Scheduler, the WebEPG Setup has instructions.
