MPTagThat supports external scripts, written in a .Net language. The CSScript engine is used for that. Scripts must reside in the Scripts folder and are compiled on their first usage.
The currently active script is selected in the combo box on the ribbon and pressing the Ribbon Button or Alt+E applies the script on the selected files. The sample script, which comes with MPTagThat switches the Artist Name: e.g. John Fogerty becomes Fogerty, John
The vision of the MediaPortal project is to create a free open source media centre application, which supports all advanced media centre functions, and is accessible to all Windows users.
In reaching this goal we are working every day to make sure our software is one of the best.
The team works very hard to make sure the community is running the best HTPC-software. We give away MediaPortal for free but hosting and software is not for us.
