  2. Stop the MediaPortal 2 server service and extract/copy the Emulators.Server folder to the server plugin directory (by default this is C:\Program Files (x86)\Team MediaPortal\MP2-Server\Plugins)
  3. Restart the server service and the clients

Getting Started

The settings can be found under Settings -> Plugins -> Emulators, select Configure Emulators. Depending on your current skin, you should be presented with a screen similar to below.

Select Configure Emulators" to see a list of all your emulators and have in the left menu the options to add and remove them.

Adding emulators

Before adding your games you need to add some emulators (this is true even for PC Games) .

Adding games

Once you have added some emulators you can add your games. Read Online Matching to ensure your games are matched correctly.

Client/Server

Emulator configurations are stored locally on the client so you need to add your emulators to each client where the plugin will be used.
Games are stored and streamed from the server so you only need to add your games to the server and they will be available to all connected clients. This approach works fine for emulated games however it probably won't work for PC games which need to be installed on the local system. Currently all games are visible on all clients but it is planned to filter out PC games that aren't on the local system.
