Overview

Cinema is a plugin, that provides cinema and playtime information within the MediaPortal 2 client.

The complete features are as follows:

1. Add cinemas around your postral code
2. See the cinema playtimes of the movies
3. Play trailers for the respective movies

Installing

Download the plugin zip from here.

1. Close your MediaPortal 2 client
2. Extract/copy the Cinema subfolder (consider the NET version of your Mediaportal 2) to the client plugin directory (by default this is C:\Program Files (x86)\Team MediaPortal\MP2-Client\Plugins)
3. Restart the the client

Configuration

Go to Settings >  Plugins > Cinema

You have 3 options

• Choose Cinemas
• Content language
• Manually Update

Choose Cinemas

Press the button "Country of Cinema" and select the country of your cinema locations.

In next step enter your postral code and search for cinemas around you. Select the cinemas in the list.

Content Language

Select the language of the cinema program and the trailer audio.

Manually Update

Update the cinema program and the playtimes manually. The forcast is always for 7 days.

Usage

Home Content

The Home Content is not yet implemented for Cinema.

View Mode

While being in the main view open the hidden menu, select 'View Mode'. You can select between List and Grid view. The details section can not be hidden for Cinema.

Select Cinema

While being in the main view open the hidden menu, select 'Select Cinema'. Select the cinema for which you want the see the movies and their playtimes.

Play Trailer

Focus a movie in the main list of the selected cinema. You can see details in the right side. To play a trailer select the movie.

You may be asked to select a trailer version in case there is more than one.
