Where to download the latest drivers for your HTPC

Latest Drivers

Drivers tell Windows, and thus MediaPortal, what to do. Drivers change frequently, so the best practice is to use only the official drivers and preferably the latest versions. 

This page provides the sources where you can download them. 

Note: Beta, non-WHQL and other drivers like Omega and custom drivers are not supported. If you choose to use these drivers, you use them at your own risk.

  • Sound Blaster Live! (the best driver for Live! cards) download
  • Sound Blaster Audigy/Audigy2 (the best driver for Audigy cards) download
  • Nvidia nForce Audio Windows XP download
  • M-Audio Drivers Windows XP download

TV-Cards

It is required that you use the latest BDA-Drivers for DVB TV-cards. WDM drivers are not supported. The only exception is the Skystar2.
