Overview

View your Ant Movie Catalog database in AMC Updater (AMCU), where you can sort, edit and save changes to your database.

Introduction

As a mini database management utility, you can actually use AMC Updater > View Movies tab instead of Ant Movie Catalog, with extended fields in the main display. It also offers an option to update a single movie and select which fields are updated.

View Movies

You can expand the window, browse through your records, sort by columns in the left side list, edit any data and save changes.

You may also use the little green arrow at the top of the Movie list to 'fold back' the list.

As of v 6.0.0 click on the cover image to display the full cover.

Update Movie

As of v 6.0.0, you can update a single movie via the View Movies tab:

When you click on Update Movie, if AMCU cannot automatically match your movie, it will display the same Manual Matching dialog as when importing or updating films using AMCU.

Once your film has been 'matched' a selection dialog displays the old/new data and image to allow you to decide what data you wish to update.

To update data you may either:

1. Manually check/uncheck the fields you wish to update or not
2.  Use Field Selection to choose a 'quick select' option:

• Select All
• Select None
• Select only missing data (empty fields)
• Select only non-empty 

A cover preview is possible if you click on the old or new cover image:

The preview shows info about size and format of the respective image in the headline.
