Overview

The External Catalogs tab allows you to configure special mapping of fields when using catalog types other than AMC.

Mapping Fields

In MyFilms Setup, click the External Catalogs tab:

• Add Tagline - check to enable then select either the Description or Comments field from the drop down list of destination fields
• Add Tags - check to enable then select either the Description or Comments field from the drop down list of destination field
• Add Certification - check to enable then select either the Description or Comments field from the drop down list of destination fields

DVD Profiler

DVD Profiler is designed mainly for offline media such as DVDs and Blu-rays. However, you can use it for movies ripped or saved on your HDD. The usual method is to add the source file path/name to the Notes Field. If you use this method:

• Enable Notes Field contains only Movie Filename - MyFilms will then import the Notes field to Source

DVD Profiler can also map Tags:

•  Enable Merge With Category Field - in Category view you will see all your tags listed as well as genres/categories. Or, you may merge tags to either the Description or Comments field the same as any other External Catalog.
