Overview

The Display tab allows you to customize your display by selecting 5 custom display items to display on the Main window and 6 separate items to display on the Details window.

Introduction

As of My Films v 6.0.0, Custom Display items can be selected separately: 5 for the Main window and 6 for the Detail Window. The My Films Setup Wizard automatically presets Custom Display Items for you, based on your catalog type.

 Tip: Check which fields display in your selected skin first. Then change the display items within MyFilms using the Options Menu > Display Options on either the Main or Detail window, or the context menu on the Detail window - see Customizing Display  for further details.

Note:  The 'labels' which display for a field are automatically set to the field name, and can only be customized on this tab.

Custom Display Items

You do NOT need to add main fields like Title, year, runtime etc. as custom display items as these display be default in most skins.

1. DB Item to Display - from the drop down box, select the item to display - My Films field names match AMC database field names
2. Label - enter the label you wish to display, for example if you commonly import Writers to the Producers field, you can change the label for Producer DB Item to Writers

Note: As of v 6.0.0 'Display only Movie Title in Lists' has moved to the Views tab.
