How to add your own 'user rating' (for each user) and view your 'favorite' films

Ratings and User Ratings

MyFilms keeps track of User rating, and favorites per user. For further information, see Multiple Users.

Ratings

The Rating field displays the main rating grabbed from the internet site for your grabber.

To change the main rating select 'Rating' from the context menu only in the Detail Window.

Just use the left/right arrow buttons to adjust the rating, then right/left again, or up arrow to access the OK button (or press Back/Esc) to close.

User Ratings

As of v 6.0.0 you may also add a user rating for the current selected user by using the 'User Rating' option from the context menu in the Details window to display the same rating dialog as above. 

My Films keeps track of your 'User Rating' separately for each user while retaining the 'Rating' grabbed from the website (or set by the Rating option above).

If you have enabled Trakt for your config, and enabled the Trakt pop-up rating dialog (in Trakt plugin config/settings) after you play a film, it will add or change the current User Rating, not the main Rating for the film. See Trakt Setup for further details.

Favorites

As of v 6.0.0, when you rate a film with a user rating > 7 it is automatically added to Favorites for the current user.

To view your favorite films, select the Favorites field from the View by menu option > ***Show All*** list of fields > Favorites.

If multiple users are supported for the database/config, the Favorites view will list all users so you can view each user's Favorite films.

Note: The rating is only saved for Ant Movie Catalogs. For other catalog types, it will persist until you export your XML from your catalog.

Filter by Rating

You can also select Global Filters > Show only films with minimum rating, to display only films with a rating higher than the minimum rating you select. See Filters for further details.
