Overview
How to change layouts to display your films in the style you prefer or select different default layouts for different views.
Settings
You can select the default layout you wish for each custom view as well as for movie lists (which includes the Films view) and groups in Start Settings, either on the Views tab in Setup, or within MyFilms.
Note: Custom Views based on a Title field (e.g. Films View, Original Title, etc.) use the Film List layout setting.
Indexed views use the same layout selected for the Custom View.
Layouts
My Films supports all layouts available for MediaPortal. To switch to another layout, select the Layout: option on the main menu.
To save that layout for the current view, open the context menu and select: Save current layout and sort as start default...
Note: Only the List layout is currently supported for the Views Menu new as of (v 6.0.0).
List
Big Icons List
As of v 6.0.0, My Films supports an alternate list layout, the Big Icon List layout, which displays additional details such as Edition names and watched status icons on a second line:
Icons/Big Icons
Note: Big Icons layout is displayed above, select Icons Layout for smaller images to display more on the screen at one time.
Filmstrip
Note: Filmstrip layouts often do not display film details, however it depends on the skin you use.
Cover Flow
In Cover flow layout you may use the F3 key or yellow button on your remote (or map a remote button to the 'Show Info' action) to display movie details on the back of the 'card'
