How many local trailers can I add for a film?

Background

Trailers can only be searched and stored for AMC xml databases. However, you can link to the Online Videos plugin to play IMDB, YouTube or Apple Trailers.  Trailers for External Catalogs are not yet supported, but we are working on it!

Answer

You can store as many trailers as you like, even from within My Films in MediaPortal.  First you must select a field in your AMC database to store the trailer files in Trailer Setup. The Borrower field is preset as a default. You may also select Extended search paths, as many folders as you wish separated by semi colons.  Then when you select Search Trailer (local) from the Detail window in My Films, it will add all files with TRL, TRLR, Trailer etc in the file name to the field you selected for Trailers.

Whenever a trailer is available, the Trailers button (if supported in your skin) will display a green light!
