To get all the channel and program details into MediaPortal for South Africa you will have to download the latest XMLTV file from one of the following sites:

To Get you started here is an exported DSTV Channel List. Go to TV Server Config and under TV Channels click the "Import" button and select the downloaded file, You MIGHT need to change each channels Input and Source settings Jules ZATVChan Exp.rar

Automate:

Command script to auto download and unzip to correct directory for XMLTV plugin.

1. Save attached download.cmd on your PC

2. Edit it with notepad

3. Customize included directories to your own setup.

4. Create a scheduled task in Windows (Control Panel; Scheduled Tasks) to auto execute download.cmd every Sunday evening.

If you don't want the console to appear when you update your EPG. Run the .cmd script above using this .vbs file. just right click and edit the file. Replace "ZA_EPG.cmd" with the name of your .cmd script and put it in the same folder as this file. ZA_EPG.vbs
