    Overview

    Resize, crop, deinterlace and post-process your videos directly in MediaPortal GUI when using ffdshow as a decoder or raw filter

    Introduction

    ffdshow is an advanced DirectShow filter and VFW codec that supports many audio and video formats. It provides powerful management for post-processing video content.

    Note: You must install and select ffdshow as the decoder for videos in Configuration > Codecs and Renderer  > Video Codecs to use these post-processing features.

    Selecting Post-Processing

    While playing a video, press the F9 key, or Info/More remote button for the context (actions) menu. If you have ffdshow running, a Postprocessing option will automatically display:

    Select the option you wish to postprocess:

    When enabled you will see [active] to confirm the validation.

    Now enjoy watching your video with your Post Processing choice(s).
