Overview

Select or change screensaver settings to reduce power consumption when MediaPortal is idle.

Screensaver Settings

You may also configure these settings using the Configuration Tool, See GUI > Screensaver.
 

• Use ScreenSaver - when enabled the Idle Action will take effect whenever there is no activity or fullscreen playback.
• Delay in seconds - the amount of time MediaPortal is idle before the Idle action is applied.
• Idle Action - choose whether you wish to Blank the screen, or  Reduce framerate and save CPU and power.

As soon as you access MediaPortal again, it will revert from idle to 'active' mode.
